VAT period
For bookkeeping that needs the open quarter, not the VAT on a line. Start with Getting started. Adding or stripping VAT is money/vat.
GET /v1/uk/vat-period maps a London date onto a stagger:
| Stagger | Quarters end |
|---|---|
| 1 | March, June, September, December |
| 2 | January, April, July, October |
| 3 | February, May, August, November |
ends=mar is the same as stagger 1. The due date is the 7th of the second month after the period ends (standard online filing). Confirm your stagger on GOV.UK. This does not log into HMRC.
