Checks overview
GET /v1/check runs the same validators as the dedicated /v1/check/* routes. Pass kind and number (or value / q).
Supported kinds: iban, vat, nino, nhs, isbn, luhn, plate, lei, isin, sedol, swift, eori, sortcode, company, postcode.
These endpoints validate format and checksum rules only. They do not call live HMRC, DVLA, GLEIF, SWIFT, EISCD, Companies House, or Royal Mail. Sort code, company number, BIC, and postcode are shape checks. The others run a published checksum.
