How to request deletion
- Sign in at login if you still can, and note the email on account.
- Send one message from that same email to hello@fetch.li with the subject Delete fetch.li account, or use the support form and choose a privacy / account request.
- Write that you want the fetch.li member account deleted. Include the email (and Google, GitHub or X handle if you only signed in that way).
- We confirm to that inbox, then delete. Target is 14 days. If we need to prove who you are, we ask one follow-up. We do not delete on a screenshot of this page alone.
What we delete
- Member profile: name, email, password hash, OAuth links, session cookies and session tokens.
- Authenticator secret (TOTP), once encrypted at rest.
- API keys issued to that member (revoked, then dropped from our member record).
- Support mail we hold only because you had an account, once the ticket is closed.
What we keep, and for how long
- Invoices, Stripe payment records, and tax paperwork: up to 6 years, as UK company law requires. That is Tidalux Ltd billing, not a live login.
- Hashed network identifiers used to stop abuse (rate limits, bans): up to 90 days, then they age out of the window.
- A short deletion log (email hash, date, request id): 12 months, so we can show Play or the ICO that we actioned the request.
- Anonymous API traffic on the public demo has no account attached. We cannot un-call a weather lookup.
Delete some data without closing the account
You do not have to close the desk to drop a key. On account, type DELETE plus the last 4 characters of that key. That kills the secret. Display name can be changed from the same page. We do not offer a self-serve “wipe every log but keep the login” button. Ask hello@fetch.li if you need a name or a linked provider removed and the account left open.
Play Store
